Don’t be fooled by the black exterior. When you step inside Taylor’s of Berry, you’ll discover a breezy, light-filled space with a gentle colour palette inspired by the surrounding landscape. And recycled brick floors that feel deliciously cool underfoot.

Taylor’s has a generous and private timber deck with direct access from the living area and bedroom. You can enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets and peaceful views across the paddocks and escarpment. A retractable Luxaflex awning provides shade for the rear deck and there’s a gas-fired Everdure barbecue for the outdoor cook.

There are plenty of great places to eat in and around Berry, but we’ve made sure Taylor’s has a fully-fitted cook’s kitchen with island bench for dining in. After all, there’s a wealth of amazing fresh produce in the Shoalhaven. Quality Smeg appliances include family-size fridge/freezer, electric oven, gas cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. There’s also a washing machine, separate dryer, two sinks and a coffee machine.

The bedroom boasts a queen-size bed and mattress from King furniture to guarantee you a perfect night’s sleep. There’s also pure cotton bedding and pillows from Neale Whitaker’s N|W Collection. French doors leading onto the deck are fitted with flyscreens and there’s a choice of reverse-cycle air-conditioning or ceiling fan. And did we mention waking up to that magnificent view?

We love the bathroom at Taylor’s. There’s a traditional clawfoot bath, rain shower, luxurious towels from the N|W Collection, bath robes and premium Australian toiletries. And underfloor heating for those crisp, country winter mornings. We recommend a deep, relaxing bath with a glass of something chilled.

Whether you choose to explore the local region or simply bunker down, we’ve thought of everything to make your stay at Taylor’s of Berry special. The spacious living/dining area opens to the deck through sliding doors fitted with flyscreens. There’s super-luxe King furniture, a generous dining setting, smart TV, wifi, Bluetooth sound speaker, reverse-cycle air conditioning, ceiling fans, gas fireplace, dimmable lighting and Luxaflex privacy screens and pure linen curtains. Our love of art is reflected in original works by contemporary Australian artists. And that vintage chandelier? We’re calling it ‘country luxe’.

Getting Here
Finding your way to Taylor’s of Berry couldn’t be simpler. Just a two-hour drive south of Sydney, historic Berry lies in the beautiful Shoalhaven region of the NSW south coast, just 10 kilometres from the ocean at Seven Mile Beach National Park. It’s also a short hop from the coastal towns of Gerringong, Gerroa and Shoalhaven Heads and the magnificent views of Kangaroo Valley.
In Berry you’ll find a great mix of restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars. It’s also a favourite spot for shopping, with plenty of interesting stores – from homewares to fashion, bicycles to books. And yes, the famous Donut Van is right there on Queen St, more popular than ever.
Taylor’s of Berry is just a few minutes from the town centre. If you’re travelling from Sydney, head south on the Princes Highway, and after exiting at Berry, turn right on to Kangaroo Valley Road. Another right- hand turn will bring you on to Bundewallah Road. After 700 metres you’ll see the Taylor’s of Berry sign on your left. You’ve arrived.
